ATTENTION LANDLORDS: Commonwealth v. Tobin: If your tenants don't want to let the Codes Inspector in their apartment, the Codes Office can't fine you. They have to get a search warrent!

This is an appeal by Michael T. Tobin, Jr. from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Schuylkill County that found him guilty of violating Ordinance 176 (Ordinance) of the City of Pottsville (City) and directed that he pay fines and restitution.

Councilman Bill Kreisher will be discussing his proposed inspection ordinance for non-student rentals at the meeting on Thursday. The meeting will be held at the office of Susquehanna Realty, 246 W. Main St., Bloomsburg. Please park in the rear parking lot, and use the rear entrance.
