If you need sand and dirt for landscaping, let us know! We do have a location to take the buckets to, just a couple miles away, and we need someone strong enough to lift these buckets in and out of a vehicle and dump them at another house. We have wonderful plans for the backyard, and we need people to w**d and remove small trees and bushes so we can lay cardboard down to get ready for planting.

Tickets are available at the door.
Donations are still welcome and needed to maintain the home for use by LGBTQ folks who need a place to get on their feet and become a part of our community, or move on to a more permanent and independent situation.

Thank you to our volunteers who showed up on Saturday to dig out the pond and clear the rest of the tree debris from the August storm!!
One more session of digging and then we should be ready to develop the pond into a beautiful water feature again 😃.
The oak tree and invasive species have all been marked with orange spray paint, so let us know if you can help with that, or if you're up for a workout with the pond digging. You can message us here or email [email protected] to arrange a work session.

All those red states is why we have prioritized offering space at the Nest (a three bedroom house) to trans people needing a safer place to live. The family in the house now will be moving out, and we need to grow our volunteer pool and add to our Non Profit Board of Directors in order to continue to take in folks moving from other states.

The Trustees are open to other ideas about how best to utilize the house, so if you have an opinion or an idea, reach out! You can comment, or email us at [email protected].

We still need a lot of help with the backyard after the recent storms, and we want to finish digging out the pond when the weather cools off a bit! Join us in maintaining this investment for our community!!

While we need as many volunteers as possible to develop our Secret Garden, donations would enable us to pay local folks who need the income. We will also need to buy topsoil and some established vegetable and herb plants!
