MotorCychos CC

MotorCychos CC This page is for all open community events involving the MotorCychos Charity Club. He has since been blessed with a child who is happy and healthy as possible.

MotorCychos CC was formed by 5 friends who all share a passion for motorcycling. Motorcycles are our common bond and together we share a desire to help sick children and those less fortunate. The idea of starting a charity motorcycle club was the brainchild of our President and our former Vice President (now retired) who have ridden together since 2006. Growing up, our co-founder and president was

healthy and never inflicted with any of the normal childhood illnesses or other diseases some kids have to face. However, he has friends who have watched their children battle cancer and other diseases. His son has watched friends from his school battle life threatening illnesses as well. Our co-founder and former vice-president (now retired) was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic at the age of 18. While it hasn't had any major implications on his well-being, it is something he must deal with on a daily basis. It’s also something he’s seen his father and others struggle with almost since birth. With this in mind, we set out to create a club that has a focus and dedication to help those less fortunate in our community who have been affected by childhood illness. We wish to accomplish our goals by our deeds, not our words (FACTA NON VERBA). We are dedicated to our community and its members and our mission is to assist and raise awareness for children and their families whose lives have been impacted by cancer and other life threatening diseases.

A big thank you to everyone that came out for Big Mike. I know the weather was questionable and everyone but myself got wet. But know we all appreciate everyone so much. And a big thank you to the Patriotic Few for getting us out and back home safely. Let’s make next year even better. The first Saturday in June will be the date for the Big Mike and Tori memorial ride. So save the date now.

Tomorrow is the day! Saturday, July 19th at the Rusty Anchor Lakeside Saloon. We have been keeping a close eye on the forecast. As of right now we feel like we still have a good opportunity to get the ride in. There are only slight chances of pop up rains in the area throughout the morning. (Nothing severe). If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we are still going to have a great time together. There will be an amazing biscuits n gravy and eggs breakfast provided at the Anchor. Be sure to give a huge thanks to Jordan for helping make this breakfast possible. KSU at 11am. Big Mike has came through for all of us so many times, and I have no doubt he will again tomorrow with Mother Nature.
