📣 PARENTS & COMMUNITY — THIS ONE MATTERS! 💜

Homecoming is about more than a parade. It’s about school pride, teamwork, memories, and bringing our students and community together. For generations, building Homecoming floats has been a tradition that gave students the opportunity to work together, be creative, and experience the excitement of representing their class.

This year, the process has changed. Students are now expected to design and build their class floats on their own time. We have heard from students and families who are concerned about whether they will realistically have the time and opportunity to participate.

We believe this deserves a community conversation.

🏫 We are asking parents, grandparents, alumni, and community members to attend the upcoming School Board meeting on Wednesday, September 9 @5:30.

Come share your thoughts.
Come ask questions.
Come listen.
Come support our students.

Our community has always been willing to step up for our kids. There are people who are willing to donate their time, skills, and even a weekend to help students build their floats together as a class.

How can we make Homecoming work for our students while keeping the traditions that make it special?

Our students deserve the chance to experience the excitement, teamwork, and pride that come with Homecoming. ❤️

If you care about our students, our school, and the traditions that bring us together, please consider coming to the meeting and making your voice heard.

Let’s show our kids that their community is behind them. 💜

📣 We have a little bit of confusion we want to clear up!

Just because the Homecoming Parade is returning to Bloomington does NOT mean that Homecoming festivities are only for Bloomington!

🎉 ALL communities within the River Ridge School District are encouraged to participate in ANY of the Homecoming festivities created and shared by the Bloomington Buzz & Events page or follow along with the schools festivities.

No matter what town you live in — Bloomington, Bagley, Patch Grove, Glen Haven, Mount Hope, or anywhere else in the River Ridge District — Homecoming is for everyone! 💜🩶

We are all part of the River Ridge Timberwolf family, and we want to see the entire district come together to celebrate our students, our school, and our communities!

Let’s make it a great one and paint all our towns PURPLE! 💜🩶

WE'VE GOT SOME REALLY BIG NEWS!!!!
We were able to get the permit to shut done the highway so that the homecoming parade could make its way back onto main street!!
Now it's your turn to show your support and make this years homecoming parade the best one yet!!!
Be on the look out for some fun things weve got planned for EVERYONE to partake in!!
