This Sunday, we’re proud to shine a light on Vanessa McClary — a passionate advocate, inspiring leader, and unwavering force for good in our community.

With more than 25 years of service, Vanessa founded the Kiwanis Club of South Central Indiana and the 25+ Kiwanians Who Care initiative, both dedicated to uplifting local youth and families.

A catalyst for change, Vanessa brings people together to launch impactful projects, most recently founding the Kiwanis Indiana Balloon Fest. Her work has earned widespread recognition, including the Indiana Governor’s Distinguished Hoosier Award, the Bloomington Volunteer Network Lifetime Achievement Award, the United Way Spirit Award, and Bloomington’s Black History Living Legend honor.

Vanessa leads with heart and humility, guided by the belief:

Come out and see Our all abilities choir members perform with the Sing for Joy Choir. This is the sing for Joy choir’s annual holiday concert.

The show starts at 6pm and it is at the Monroe County public library downtown Branch Auditorium on Kirkwood avenue in Bloomington Indiana

Hey, it’s Jake May President of Aktion club. Just wanted to share this with everybody but we are going to be celebrating our 10th anniversary of this amazing talent show that was started. I am so excited to be sharing the stage with Aaron Smith, Maddie King and Luke Hopkins for amazing evening. We are officially have our 22 act for the show, it’s gonna be a fun evening and fun concert show date is November 21 at the Monroe County public library downtown branch auditorium and dress rehearsal will be Wednesday, November 20 at the StoneBelt gymnasium on E. 10th St. for information. Please reach out to Kristen King or Aaron Smith or myself with information about this event it’s going to be an awesome evening and an amazing cause come out and join us for an unforgettable night,
