Throwback Tuesday! 10 years ago today our club meeting was dominated by an "advanced manual speech" interview where charter members Mary and Mary Lynn discussed plans for our upcoming 25-year club anniversary celebration meeting. Guess what's coming up in just two days? Our 35-year club anniversary meeting!!!

Had such a great time at the OAKS Club annual celebration meeting and picnic! Big thanks to Mary Peterson for putting it all together — everything ran so smoothly. And a huge shoutout to the Walkers for manning the grill and keeping everyone fed with all that delicious meat!

Here are a few photos of our lovely venue and of the crew that stuck around till the very end for games. 😊

Monday Motivation 💬

💪 Keep Going. Your Next Try Could Be the One.

Progress doesn’t always happen on the first attempt. Every speech that doesn’t go as planned, every challenge we encounter, and every piece of constructive feedback gives us another opportunity to learn and improve.

In Toastmasters, we don’t strive for perfection—we strive for progress.

✨ Try. Learn. Improve. Try again.
Your breakthrough may be just one more attempt away.

🎤✨ Another Great Toastmasters Meeting! ✨🎤

What a fantastic meeting! 🙌 We had a wonderful time learning, sharing, and growing together as speakers.

One of the highlights was watching and critiquing the speech of the new World Champion of Public Speaking, Dirceu da Silva of Rotterdam, Netherlands! 🏆🌎 It was inspiring to watch a world-class speech and discuss what made it so effective. 🎥👏

We also had a lot of fun with Table Topics! 🎯🗣️ It was great seeing everyone think on their feet, have some laughs, and challenge themselves to speak spontaneously.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the meeting such an enjoyable and engaging experience! 👏😊

Keep speaking, keep learning, and keep growing! 🌟🎙️
