Bloomington Sexual Assault Awareness Coalition We are a group of students and residents in Bloomington Indiana who are trying to raise awareness about the issue of sexual assault and domestic violence.

We are trying raise awareness about issues of sexual assault and domestic violence in the community by promoting the efforts of organizations, groups, and agencies that combat the effects of r**e culture. We would also like to highlight media postings regarding the issues of sexual assault and domestic violence and provide a place for open dialogue.

First of all, we would like to thank Karsyn Robb for sharing this link with us. This letter is an important reminder that sexual assault affects both the survivor and the ones they love. Secondary survivors often suffer the consequences of sexual assault along with the survivor.

This is an extremely difficult letter to write as I have a hard enough time talking about my daughter being sexually assaulted let alone trying to write about it. Words can’t even begin to express...

If you have not heard of the "Safe Campus Act" yet, this is a good introduction. This bill would prevent Universities from sanctioning the perpetrator of a sexual assault until a formal investigation from local authorities has been conducted. Students who experience sexual assault are less likely to report to the police than they are to school administrators. It I interesting that Fraternities are lobbying for the so called "Safe Campus Act."
