International Center for Women's Ministries CWM offers HOPE to hurting women through free peer counseling for emotional and spiritual healing.

The Center for Women’s Ministries, Inc., was founded in Bloomington, Indiana, in 1989. It grew from the Spirit-led conviction that although there are many social service agencies available, the element lacking in emotional healing is a spiritual emphasis. The Center for Women’s Ministries, Inc., is a free, non-denominational ministry for women promoting emotional and spiritual healing. Our primary

purpose is crisis intervention with a spiritual emphasis. The ministry is designed to create an environment where non-judgmental listening, sharing, encouragement and prayer support can take place. We network with Prison Fellowship Ministries, crisis pregnancy centers, American Association of Christian Counselors, and other faith-based organizations. Facilities are staffed by crisis volunteers and are open primarily weekdays. They offer individual counseling sessions with paraprofessionals, support groups related to the community’s specific needs, Bible studies and prayer groups. Centers offer such facilities as counseling rooms, lounge, lending library and meditation chapel. Training sessions, seminars and retreats are conducted for volunteers’ growth.
