Black Chorus and Orchestra A new hybrid form of video-theatre presents fragmented images of African-American history and culture.

As a research-based art project the experimental film, Black Chorus and Orchestra intends to give visuality to the complex relationship between African American history, resistance efforts and the technological and creative arts. Our collective consists of visual artists, filmmakers, actors, and dancers from Russia, Canada, and the US, all interested, not only in race relations and the social impl

ications, but the way in which people visualize and express themselves, especially in disenfranchised communities. Our work is centered around the construction of race and the legal, social and emotional repercussions that it leaves on the world we live in.
