Dance with us in the Lotus Parade!

Join Windfall Dancers and become part of the Lotus Parade Dance Mob! We’ll learn a fun, energetic dance and then take it to the streets together as Fugu Dugu’s Wild East Punk leads the parade with their fabulous sound.

Come to one of our short, welcoming workshops for a dance warm-up, choreography, and moving together. Then join the Dance Mob and help us bring the parade to life!

No dance experience needed. Everybody is welcome. Come by yourself, bring a friend, bring your family—just come ready to move, have fun, and be part of something joyful.

➡️ Workshops:
Saturday, Sept 26, 1:30-2 at Windfall Studios
Saturday, Oct. 3, 11:30-12 Lotus Festival lawn

➡️ Lotus Parade:
Saturday, October 3 at 8:30 PM
Dress in your own vibrant expression—bright, bold, playful, wild, or whatever makes you feel like dancing. We’ll also be handing out colorful feathers to all of our dancers to add to the celebration!

Learn the dance. Join the mob. Fill the streets with color. Let’s dance together!

Check out Windfall Fiscal Project: Bloomington Dance Connections!

Something exciting is happening at Bloomington Dance Connections.

When we started BDC, our goal was simple: create an affordable, welcoming and accessible place for people in our community to connect through social dance.

As we head into fall, we’re building on that mission with our new Dance Ambassador program.

Dance Ambassadors are people who believe in what we’re creating and want to help us grow.

For some, that may mean welcoming newcomers, helping with an event, bringing a snack or simply making someone new feel at home.

For others, it may simply mean providing financial support so we can continue offering affordable, high-quality social dance opportunities in Bloomington.

Both matter. There is no volunteer requirement.

A $45 Dance Ambassador contribution includes admission to our first three events and helps us continue building a community where people can dance, connect and belong.

Our fall season kicks off Friday, October 2 at Windfall Dancers, and we’re making that first step into our community especially easy: anyone who has never attended a BDC event before is our guest.

And there’s more coming—including special guest Eric Byers for West Coast Swing on Friday, October 30.

If our mission speaks to you, we’d love to have you join us as a Dance Ambassador.
