The Minnesota Ninety-Nines invites Girls ages 15+ and women to a fun-filled aviation event where you can learn about all things aviation!

Registrants will learn airplane safety, preflight inspection, and how to get started as a pilot.

You will also have to opportunity to experience a flight with a pilot, the beauty and joy of flying, as well as have the opportunity to meet women pilots!

The event will be held on May 30, 2026, 9am-2pm, and the Downtown St. Paul Airport.

Sunday, February 23 at 4:30 pm, our own Heather McNevin will once again talk to us (via Zoom) about services available from ATC and how to use them. This is a followup to her presentation this fall. If you recall, she told us that we should come up with questions you would like answered about ATC procedures. Please email Heather with your questions, so she can make a list and include those in her presentation. [email protected]
Also please RSVP to Heather. She plans on doing WINGS credit for those who attend. A Zoom invite will go out the week before.

Monday, February 24 is another online event. This is an opportunity to support our Section by attending Brenda and Brenda's Aviator's Tribuvia. All the info on how to participate is on the attached flyer. The format is similar to the Tea and Trivia from this fall. It would be fun to see a lot of our Chapter members attend and say hi to other North Central Section members.

2024 Tree of Hope!

We had a record number of 99s volunteering this year. In addition there were many volunteers from clubs, EAA chapters, churches, and other volunteer organizations.

What a great event!

Brenda Frye from Iowa and Brenda Hanson from Minnesota hosted a successful Tea & Trivia event. Attendees answered tea and aviation questions and learned more about each other. Cheryl Daml, Patti Sandusky, Lisa Karan, and Laura Pham also attended from the Minnesota 99s.

MN 99s attended Princeton Build a Plane! We got to sit in the S2, learned about the history of Flight Expo, and Build a Plane. We got to talk to the kids involved in the program, and we had a chance to rivet and drill.
