A special Gender Euphoria event coming up on Saturday!

THIS SATURDAY:
🏳️‍⚧️ Gender Euphoria 🏳️‍⚧️ is a private event that meets at the end of every month 6-8 before the bar opens for regular service at 8.
This 21+ private event is for anyone & everyone trans, intersex, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, etc. - to be clear, when we say anyone & everyone we mean it! If you feel you do not or MAY NOT identify as cis (the gender you were assigned at birth) you are welcome in this space. We do not care about "passing" as that is not the goal for folks who may not identify with the gender they were assigned at birth.
Non-binary, gender non-conforming, or gender fluid folks do not owe anyone androgyny.
trans folks do not owe anyone a "binary" or "passing" appearance.
This space is to include & build community with anyone who may not fall into or conform to cis-heteronormative gender roles forced on us at birth.
If you have a cis ally or cis person in your life wanting to get involved, contribute or learn more please feel free to reach out, however we ask they stay home for these private monthly events for the time being until this event grows then we will expand to other locations to involve LGBTQIA+ youth, their families & allies.
❤️This is not to exclude our cis allies but to allow a secure & safe space where we can build & organize intentionally with other trans & gender non conforming folk.

We had a productive day in Springfield at Advocacy Day sponsored by Equality Illinois. Thanks to Karla Bailey-Smith, Renée Mishler, Charlie Miller, and the rest of the McLean County contingent who lobbied their elected officials to support lgbtq legislation.

Join us Friday, June 5 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington-Normal as we help the American Red Cross of Illinois collect blood during pride month! Some neat swag available including weekend passes to the Tailgate N' Tallboys music weekend June 18-21!

This year Prairie Pride Coalition, Q***r Coalition at Illinois State University, and PFLAG Bloomington/Normal are partnering to bring you a family-friendly Pride Picnic on Sunday, June 14th from noon to 3 p.m. at Anderson Park (East Shelter). RSVP is not required and loved ones are welcome to attend. Food from A to Z's Catering and Parties will include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

If you or another member of your party has special dietary or other accommodation needs, please email them to [email protected] at least a week in advance so we can make arrangements for you. This will be a zero-waste event.
