Happy New Year to all and we would like to take the time to share with you how your support and donations have helped us in 2024: We have provided furniture to several people moving out of homelessness into their new place, donations of dishes pots and pans and utensils from a special donor with funds from Thrivent, transported several people to shelters or out of town with families to get off the streets, three emergency hotel vouchers, 3 families earning a stipend at the store for groceries, gas, personal hygiene, drove U-Haul trucks to move and bus passes to take care of business. We got to start meeting at the library creating a space to meet people who are unhoused and get to know them and their needs.

We have received donations from ISU alumni in which we are very grateful and have received grants from the Illinois Prairie Foundation, Mahannah Foundation, Raymond James Gross Family Charitable Fund and several donors from our community. We have had several volunteers to help us fundraise at Pizza Ranch and was grateful that Culver's on Hershey Rd. allowed us to fundraise with them for a dine to donate contribution. We look forward to this event every second Monday of the month in 2025.

I love what I do at COPS NFP and I look forward to seeing growth in many people as a result of this community effort to help people to escape and stay out of poverty one person at a time.

May God continue to bless you all and may this be a year of being safe, loved, protection and may you grow in every area of life as you work toward making your dreams a reality.

My apologies, friends and family. We will not be at Pizza Ranch tonight. We were on our way with our group and was told that there is another group because they double booked by accident. I will update you guys if we’re able to have it on the 23rd and the 30th of this month. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Nonprofit organizations. Pizza Ranch requires 10 volunteers minimum. Help us 5 to 8 10/9 and we will have 3 to 4 people to volunteer at your next pizza ranch fundraiser.

This is for any nonprofit organization needing to make sure you have your numbers.

Thanks in advance. CEO of COPS NFP. Inbox me, Verneice to let me know that you will be there. Blessings.

I stopped to get gas at Circle K across from University High after dropping Isaiah off. IYanah my 11 year old went in and came back out sharing that she was to tell me that I am raising a very respectful young lady and to tell me that I am doing a good job. Yani did not get what Shaylah wanted while inside so Shaylah went in and came back out to report that the employees announced, there’s another one, as they look so much alike and she was equally polite. The employees shared with Shaylah what they told IYanah and while Shaylah was sharing it with me an employee came out to meet me and repeat the words from her and her co-worker of how respectful and polite the girls were.

Well, that made my morning. The struggle is real for single parents but when you get confirmation like this you cannot help but to feel very proud of your efforts. I am proud of myself for being the best mom I can be to my little ones and all the young people I am connected to in some way. I am no fool in knowing that I am not doing this alone. Thanks to all of the churches that have and have had their hands in this, the school system, family that is involved when they can be, the boys and girls club the bigs from the big sister big brother program, Project Oz and all who invest in me in any way that allows me to give to them. And of course any one whom I may have missed. This right here is what is meant when it is said that, it takes a village.

Thanks so much Circle K employees on main across from University High School for taking the time to make sure that I knew that I am doing well as a parent because sometimes, sometimes it needs to be heard and this was a good day to hear it❤️
