Good luck to all of the athletes competing in Summer Games this weekend!

What makes the event like no other is its emphasis on inclusion of everyone and building irreplaceable bonds through a large sum of people from all walks of life, organizers said. This year's games will feature 3,450 athletes and unified partners, 1,250 coaches and 1,200 volunteers.

Come celebrate and wish Julie, Maggie, Travis, Kelsey, and Tommie good luck as they embark on their journey of representing Special Olympics Team Illinois at the Special Olympics USA Games this Summer in Minnesota!

THIS Saturday, June 6, a team of SOAR athletes, unified partners, coaches and supporters will be participating in the Special Olympics Illinois Plane Pull! Come out to the Synergy Flight Center to cheer them on!

The event kicks off at 9:30 am, with the SOAR team set to pull at 11:20 am.
