We aim to give meaningful Jewish experiences outside of school or work with Jews like you. According to Hillel.org, Indiana University consists of over 4,000 undergraduate and nearly 1,000 Jewish graduate students. This does not even include the other young professionals living in the area. IU Hillel: Grad Students and Young Professionals, in affiliation with the Helene G. Simon Hillel Center at I
ndiana University, attempts reach out to the older generation (those 1,000 Jewish grad students) to try and expand their bubble, as it can often be hard to pull away from school or work cohorts. We also know it can be hard to find Jews your own age, so hopefully this will make it easier! Although we have our own group, we also attend Shabbat dinners at the Hillel building at 730 E. 3rd Street, host our own, and gather together on Jewish Holidays like Rosh Hashana and Passover.
