Using only traditional archery our members compete, via the Society of Creative Anachronisms, with other re-enactment archers around the world. Our group arranges regular practices and attends regional events, dressing in period garb and performing in an effort to keep this tradition alive. Absolutely nothing is needed to get started, we have a full set of equipment we can loan out. Just contact

us for our regular practice schedules and come on by. We will give you the archery basics on our loaner equipment so no experience is required. We do encourage our members to eventually get their own gear, but a wealth of information is available on how to make or buy your own equipment.

This week were having open range tomorrow from 11-3. The HIGH is 39 and shooting in the cold can be rough on your hands, so keep that in mind.

Additionally, practice will be from 2-4 this Saturday (11/16) if the weather is good.

This Saturday (11/9) were having practice/novelty shoot and a party/bonfire to celebrate the rangers achievements.

Practice is from 2-5 pm, we have some pumpkins to shoot at and we can shoot whatever people bring along.

The party will start at 6 pm and you can stay after archery if you want. We will give out awards "rangers stones" for archer's accomplishments this year and have hot dogs to cook over the fire. As always feel free to bring food and drinks for yourself or to share. Everyone is invited!

Open range again this Tuesday (11/5) from 11 to 5, as long as the weather is good! You can show up anytime between 11 and 5, just go knock on the door to get Eogain if no one is outside already.

We will be doing an arrow making Workshop Saturday, November 2nd at 12:30 and ordering supplies Tuesday night of this week. If you want to make your own arrows, please e-mail Eogan at [email protected] right away so we can work out what supplies you will need.

If you want to just hang out, talk about archery, and help out making arrows then feel free!
