Join your Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Friday-Saturday, March 27-28 at Maumee Scout Reservation as they lead an essential adult training course.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills Training (IOLST) is one of the most valuable investments a Scout leader can make, both personally and professionally. Beyond earning certifications, leaders gain real confidence to manage emergencies, make sound decisions in unpredictable outdoor settings, and model calm, capable leadership when it matters most.

The skills learned won’t stay in a binder; they will show up every time Scouts plan a hike, lead a campout, or face a challenge in the field. Trained leaders run safer, more adventurous programs, empower Scouts with practical knowledge, and create experiences that build trust, resilience, and independence.
