Our friends at Visit Bloomington submitted the Limestone Campus walking tour brochure to the Indiana Tourism Awards and it won best brochure. Woohoo!

The IGWS and Visit Bloomington updated our popular walking tour last spring with an expanded brochure, accessible routes, and virtual tour with additional archival photographs. Guided versions of the tour will begin later this spring.

This month I'm marking 15 years leading the Indiana Limestone Institute of America — and I find myself genuinely humbled by the journey.

I've had the privilege of representing one of the finest natural building materials on earth, quarried right here in Lawrence, Monroe & Owen counties by some of the hardest-working, most skilled people you'll ever meet. Indiana limestone has built this nation's most iconic structures — the Empire State Building, the Pentagon, the National Cathedral — and the quarrymen, fabricators, and craftspeople behind it deserve every bit of recognition they get.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of these 15 years. It has been the honor of my career to serve this industry. 🙏
