We would like to thank Troop 374 of Victoria, Bloomington Elementary Freedom Flyers, American Legion Post 166 Texas, Bloomington Voluteer Fire Department Gilbert Ramón VFW Post 4146 news channel 25, VCSO and Danny Garcia for making our 3rd annual Flag Retirement Ceremony a great success.... it was honor as well to award our 2 scholarship winners Melanie Walters and Geneva Mckinney for Voices of Democracy and Teacher of the Year Mrs. Powers of Bloomington Elementary School.... Today, March 29, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who served during the Vietnam War.

On Vietnam Veterans Day, we recognize the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who answered the call to serve our nation during a challenging and often divisive time in our history. Many returned home without the recognition they so deeply deserved — and today, we make sure their service is never forgotten.

At the Military Heritage Museum, we are proud to stand alongside our Vietnam veterans, to share their stories, and to ensure their legacy is preserved for future generations.

To all Vietnam veterans: thank you for your service, your strength, and your sacrifice. Welcome home. 🇺🇸

A BIG SALUTE to all the volunteers that came to the Bloomington VFW Post 6074 in support of our annual fishfry. It was heartfelt to see the various organizations being represented, MVPN Victoria VFW Post 4146, The Vet Council, American Legion Post 166 Texas, DAV & DAVA Chapter 169 and Accent Home Care. Yoli Duenez did an amazing job loading those plates with fish, and the number of people that helped her...To all the donations received that made it possible from SamsClub Victoria, Skips restaurant supply, Air Liquid Bloomington, and others...thanks to 104.7 radio station for the late request to announce for us....my hats off to the few members of the post that stepped up to make it a success....
