Monroe County 4-H is excited to invite youth and families to the 2nd Annual Bill Carney Unified Livestock Experience! 🍀
📅 Tuesday, June 30, 2026
🕐 1:00-3:00 PM
📍 Kid’s Big Top | Monroe County Fairgrounds during Fair Week!
This welcoming, hands-on animal experience is open to Monroe County students in Grade 3 through age 21, including transition-age students who are still enrolled in school.
The event is designed with support in mind for youth and young adults with a history of participation in special education programs and/or Special Olympics — and it is truly open to all eligible youth whether or not they normally participate in special education programming.
Participants will be paired with a 4-H partner and will have the opportunity to learn about animals, practice showmanship skills, and take part in a Unified livestock experience.
What to expect:
🐇🐓 Hands-on small animal presentations
🐴 Horse activities
🐄 Cattle presentation
🐐🐖🐑 Unified livestock show featuring goats, pigs, and sheep as available
🏅 Awards for every participant
Register by June 12 to guarantee a T-shirt.
An optional prep clinic is planned for June 23, and details will be shared with registered families.
