It’s the weekend that many have been waiting for. Good luck to all athletes participating in the state summer games at Indiana State University. Thank you to all volunteers, chaperones, coaches, and donors who have made this weekend possible. Let’s go Monroe county. Bring home lots of hardware, but most importantly have the time of your life.

If you are riding the bus to Terre Haute for summer games, you need to be at Walmart at 8:15 Friday morning. The bus will be over near the automotive and garden area.  You also need to text Janet and let her know that you are planning on riding the bus. If you were planning on riding the bus home, you will need to ride the bus to Terre Haute.

If you are a chaperone staying on campus for Summer Games, we will have a meeting at Classic Lanes on Tuesday, May 26, at 6:30. Only those staying on campus need to come to this.

Call Outs are MANDATORY!!! You must be there to get information and to get registered for our teams.

Softball and Golf call out - June 1st at 6 pm. Location: Bloomington First Church of the Nazarene, 700 W Howe St, 47403.

Golf start date: June 8 at Cascades Golf Course, Tee off at 5:30.

Softball start date is June 22. Start time will be announced later.

Monroe County 4-H is excited to invite youth and families to the 2nd Annual Bill Carney Unified Livestock Experience! 🍀

🕐 1:00-3:00 PM
📍 Kid’s Big Top | Monroe County Fairgrounds during Fair Week!
This welcoming, hands-on animal experience is open to Monroe County students in Grade 3 through age 21, including transition-age students who are still enrolled in school.
The event is designed with support in mind for youth and young adults with a history of participation in special education programs and/or Special Olympics — and it is truly open to all eligible youth whether or not they normally participate in special education programming.
Participants will be paired with a 4-H partner and will have the opportunity to learn about animals, practice showmanship skills, and take part in a Unified livestock experience.
What to expect:
🐇🐓 Hands-on small animal presentations
🐴 Horse activities
🐄 Cattle presentation
🐐🐖🐑 Unified livestock show featuring goats, pigs, and sheep as available
🏅 Awards for every participant
Register by June 12 to guarantee a T-shirt.
An optional prep clinic is planned for June 23, and details will be shared with registered families.
