This came from Power House Lithium Battery Company and is sage advice for managing and maintaining your batteries.

If your boat will be sitting for a while, your batteries still need a little attention.

Electronics left connected can keep pulling small amounts of power long after the last trip.

So before you park it, charge your PowerHouse batteries to 80%.

If they're staying in the boat, disconnect the negative cables to stop that slow drain.

Then check state of charge every three months in the PHL app, and top back up to 80% if it's getting low.

That last step matters more than it sounds.

Once a battery hits 0% and enters safe mode, you have two weeks to recharge it before the BMS shuts down.

Missing that window isn't covered by warranty and carries a $150 service fee.

The full guide covers storage temperature, cell voltage checks in the app, and extra steps for batteries 48Ah and under.
