Tomorrow is the sweetest day of the year! Join us on Thursday, June 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Switchyard Park Pavilion for the Strawberry Shortcake Festival, rain or shine. Enjoy delicious strawberry shortcake topped with strawberries, Bruster's Real Ice Cream vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream for $10, along with hot dog specials for $5 and water for $2. Feeding a crowd? Take home a Strawberry Shortcake Kit with 10 servings of cake, a quart of Bruster's vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and whipped cream for $75.

Walk up to the pavilion or use the convenient drive-thru from the Rogers Street entrance, and cool off inside the air-conditioned pavilion while enjoying live music from Moon Buggy (11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) and the Sera-Tones (5:00–6:30 p.m.). Face painting and caricatures begin after 1:00 p.m.

Did you know this year marked our 15th Lemonade Day in Monroe County? We are so proud of the kids in our community and all of their hard work and dedication to running their lemonade stands! Lemonade day teaches kids how to be young entrepreneurs, and each year we are blown away by their big ideas. Way to go, kiddos!
