This is Selene. She is estimated to be between the ages of 8 and 12, but most likely closer to 12. She is a chill, quiet old lady that likes snuggles and head rubs. She isn’t destructive and sticks to her scratch pads. She grew up with other cats, but doesn’t like dogs and would do best in a home without them. On Sunday, September 13, Monroe Fire Station 24 will host MCHA's walk-in mobile vaccine clinic at 7606 E State Rd 45, Bloomington, IN 47408.

MCHA’s veterinary team of volunteers and staff will be available from 1-3 p.m. with no appointment needed.

Our Mobile Vaccine Clinics offer a range of services, including legally mandated rabies vaccines for pets aged 12 weeks and older.

Additionally, we provide nail trims, a**l gland expressions, microchips, and preventive measures for flea, tick, and heartworm.

Mobile Clinics are intended for healthy dogs and cats only and should not replace your annual wellness exam with your primary veterinarian.

Subsidized pricing is available for clients who show proof of financial hardship or participation in a government assistance program. All cats must arrive in a cat carrier, and all dogs must be on a leash. Dogs or cats with any signs of illness or that show aggression may not be able to get vaccinations.

Donations to our Double the Love Medical Fund have been very quiet today, and we still have a long way to go to reach our goal.

Every day, animals arrive at our shelter sick, injured and in need of medical care. Our Medical Fund allows us to say yes when they need treatment, surgery, medication or simply a chance to heal.

Right now, every donation is matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $20,000. If you’ve been thinking about giving, even a small donation can make twice the difference.

Hi, Doodle Bob here with a very important kitten request!

The Bloomington Animal Shelter is running very low on canned cat food, and we currently have a high population of cats and kittens in our care. We’ll gladly accept any brand and any flavor!

This Sunday is Indiana University Cinema's CatVideoFest 2026! A percentage of all ticket sales from CatVideoFest will benefit programs and services here at MCHA!

CatVideoFest (CVF) is a joyous, communal theatrical experience featuring the latest and best cat videos, while raising money for cats in need through partnerships with local charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters.

The show will begin at 1:00PM and is approximately 70 minutes long. Tickets are $6 (+$1.00 online fee). Thank you to our friends at IU Cinema for your support!
