This makes it official! We 'd received our Presidential Distinguished ribbon for the 22-23 Toastmaster's year. We accomplished 9 out of 10 goals for Education, and Club Management.

When Santa Gary, Toastmaster (Gary Vaughn) came to town, and regaled us with tales of his adventures in the 479 years of his being, cookies, kids merriement, how he announces his presence with Clydesdale bells, it was a meeting filled with fun!

Joint Open House with Talk of the Town Toastmasters in the books!! Meeting was described as Lively and fun! And the sign of a great club?? The meeting after the meeting as we continue over coffee, spanakopitas, brownies, porky sticks and chocolate pies.

We'd kicked off July with the first post-Covid in-person Toastmasters Leadership Institute in Peoria where Officers were trained on their roles. The teambuilding exercises were a fun learning bonus, as was networking with other Toastmasters in District 54
