My name is Lisa Wielander, and I am the President of the McLean County Family Child Care Association. Our association provides ongoing training for both licensed and license exempt providers in all of McLean County. Once again, we have an exceptional lineup of great Speakers. Presentations from Mike Lockett, regarding Music with Children, Occupational Therapists, Gardening with Children, Ag in the Classroom, and so much more! We have an opportunity to talk over contracts and policies and offer Problems and Solutions.
MCFCCA provides a chance to network with other providers, giving each other support, learning from each other, and generally enjoying a night out of the house with other adults!
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month, September through May. We meet from 6:30-8:30 PM, at Normal First United Methodist Church. Come check us out! Come see what we have to offer you!

My name is Lisa Wielander, and I am the President of the McLean County Family Child Care Association. Our association provides ongoing training for licensed, license exempt, and family providers working on obtaining a license, in all of McLean County.

This year, we have an exceptional lineup of great Speakers, including a National speaker, Jeff Johnson. Topics range from contracts and policies, to planning field trips, Children’s Literature, Fire Safety, Self Defense, Ag in the Classroom, and so much more!

This year we are also presenting a class on CPR and First Aid, so if you are
needing these required DCFS courses, come join us!

MCFCCA provides a chance to network with other providers, giving each other
support, learning from each other, and generally enjoying a night out of the house
with other adults!

Our training year starts on Tuesday September 13th! Join us for our membership drive. We will also be discussing contracts and field trips. There will be plenty of time to bring up any other questions you may have! It will be great to catch up with old friends and hopefully make some new ones!
