Delta Sig at Indiana

Delta Sig at Indiana Started in the Fall of 2013 Delta Sigma Phi at IU was founded based on the principal of wanting something more.

Delta Sigma Phi is a national, not-for-profit Fraternity that's helped young men become better for more than a century. Founded on December 10, 1899 at the College of the City of New York, Delta Sig has grown significantly over the years with 104 active chapters in the United States. In our 115 years of history, over 115,000 men have initiated into Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Today, we have 85,000

living alumni and more than 5,000 undergraduates. Our great Fraternity helps and encourages our members to become better students, better leaders, better citizens, better professionals... better men.

Here's an article written about our very successful blood drive we held yesterday. Huge thanks to all of the brothers that donated and/or volunteered, and a special shout out to Brendan Collins, our service and involvement chair, for organizing the whole event. http://www.idsnews.com/article/2017/04/fraternity-blood-drive-tries-to-help-students

This was the first of many blood drives the fraternity wants to organize.

Huge congrats to our brother Jesse Scheinman for being honored as one of the top undergraduate leaders in the '17 graduating class of the Kelley School of Business. Jesse has been very involved in his time on campus at IU, serving two semesters on the executive team for IFC, establishing Men Against R**e and Sexual-Assault (M.A.R.S), and also being active in the American Marketing Association. We are very proud of Jesse's hard work and wish him the best of luck as he starts his new job working for Amazon as a Area Operations Manager.

Honored to have been named the IU IFC Chapter of Excellence this weekend at the GAAP awards for the 2016 school year. We also received honors for "Living Your Ritual", "Best Community Program", and our brother Jesse Scheinman won an award for his commitment to Fraternity and Sorority Life at IU for his time serving on the IFC Exec Team. We are very proud of all the hard work that our exec team and brothers put in to make this possible and look forward to continued success.

On our fraternity's 117th anniversary, we are incredibly honored to have initiated 16 new Delta Sigs as part of our Eta Class. We are proud that they have chosen our fraternity, and we are proud to call them brothers.

These men will help lead us to another 117 years, and we look forward to what the future has in store for not just our chapter, but the fraternity as a whole!

We are incredibly proud to say that our outgoing President, Ben Anania, has been elected Vice President of Finance on the Indiana University Interfraternity Council (IFC). His responsibilities will include managing and maintaining a balanced budget to fund programs to benefit all 31 fraternities and the greater campus community.

This is the third straight year a Delta Sig has sat on the 8-man executive council, and we couldn't be prouder of our campus leadership tonight!

Delta Sig is proud to support the first IFC-wide philanthropy, a community No-Shave November benefitting the Movember Foundation for Testicular and Prostate Cancer Research!

Join our team and pledge to not shave throughout November (or as many days as possible), or support us in any way you can. So far IFC has already raised over $3300, and every donation goes a long way in ending a disease that is prevalent in the college-male demographic!

We are especially proud to say that one of our brothers is the guy leading the No-Shave November efforts.

Thank you again to everyone who supported our Phright Night, IUDM team, and other philanthropy and service projects. We are incredibly proud to be a chapter that can say we lead the way in benefitting the community though tangible action!
