What is Play4Kay?

Play4Kay is a nationwide initiative inspired by legendary basketball coach Kay Yow, who battled breast cancer. Through the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, teams and communities come together to support cancer research and the fight against cancers affecting women.

And we’re excited to help our very own Illinois State Women’s Basketball Redbirds continue making a difference!

ISU Women’s Basketball has earned national Play4Kay fundraising recognition for 11 consecutive seasons! In 2026, they raised more than $36,000!

In February, our Knockers players will have the opportunity to attend the ISU Women’s Basketball Play4Kay game! We’ll share more details as it gets closer.

💚💛 THIS IS WHAT FAMILY IS ALL ABOUT.

We teach our kids to fight for one another on the football field. Today, let’s show them how to stand up for others OFF the field.

Because football is about so much more than touchdowns, wins, and championships. It’s about raising kids who understand compassion, community, and the power of showing up for others.

We’d LOVE for players and families from EVERY level to come out and cheer these boys on! Let’s give them a send-off they’ll never forget.

Have cleats, Knockers apparel, or gear your athlete has outgrown? Bring it tomorrow and drop it at our donation table in front of the locker room!

Before next season, we’ll host a pop-up where families can find donated cleats and apparel for their players. 💚

🚨 EQUIPMENT RETURN REMINDER
Please return all issued equipment and practice gear Saturday! Families will be charged for items not returned.

🧁 Every athlete will receive a certificate, Gatorade, and cupcake after their game to celebrate the season!

We know youth sports take time, patience, sacrifice, and commitment. From busy weeknights and long practices to early Saturday mornings, YOU make this program possible.
