We LOVE seeing our former Knockers continue to do big things under the Friday night lights! 🔥

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to former Bloomington Knocker Lavelle Haynes Davis on being named Normal West Football’s Week 2 Defensive Player of the Week! 🏆🏈

From the green & gold to the Friday night lights, it’s pretty special watching kids who grew up in our program continue to work, compete and succeed at the high school level.

🚨🏈 PRACTICE UPDATE — PLEASE READ! 🏈🚨

Due to the heat and current conditions, we have made the decision to CANCEL ALL TACKLE AND FLAG FOOTBALL PRACTICES for tonight.

The safety of our athletes comes first, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we work around the weather. 💚💛

🏈 TACKLE FAMILIES:
We have secured Bloomington Tennis & Turf as an indoor practice option for the next two nights so our teams can still get some important practice time in.

📋 Please watch for a waiver that will need to be signed for your player to use the facility.

⏰ We are working on the indoor schedule now and will send out specific days and times for each tackle team as soon as possible.

🚩 FLAG FAMILIES:
Practice is canceled for tonight due to the heat. Please watch your team communication for any additional updates.

💚💛 KNOCKERS FAMILY — ONE OF OUR OWN COULD USE OUR SUPPORT 💚💛

We’re asking our Knockers family and community to come together for Josh and his family during an incredibly difficult time.

Josh is battling terminal cancer, and unfortunately, his appeal for disability benefits has been denied. That means he is facing the reality of continuing to work, even though his health currently limits him to sedentary-level activity with terminal cancer diagnosis.

If you are able to donate, share this post, or simply help spread the word, it would mean more than you know. Every donation, every share, and every person reached can make a difference for this family.

Our Knockers community has always been about more than football. It’s about family, showing up for one another, and having each other’s backs when it matters most.

We’ve got a full day of Flag Football, Tackle Football & Flag Cheer tomorrow — plus something extra at White Oak! 👀
