To parents who are grieving the loss of a child —
You are seen, deeply loved, and held even in the valley seasons, when it seems like you're walking this alone.
Maybe you wonder if the pain of their absence will ever heal. Heaven feels closer, and yet somehow distant.
But grief isn’t something you have to rush through, hide, or carry alone. It’s a reflection of your love. To dare to grieve is to make room for your sorrow, questions, and emotions while allowing others to meet you there with compassion.
You can rest in the hope that Jesus draws near to the brokenhearted. He is not intimidated by your pain, disappointed by your questions, or absent from your sorrow. He is with you, holding you through every season of grief.
