No market or orders this week! We will be closed Oct 10th. With no pick up or deliveries that day. This is mostly due to our funding slump/crunch between now and December. We are in need of donation to tied us over from now till the end of November when we HOPE to receive more funding. The federal, state and local cuts to nonprofit funding has caused a flood of nonprofits to seek private funding which means larger programs are soaking up all the grants that smaller organizations used to receive. It’s not their fault it is the failing of the government to provide for people in this country. But the unfortunate consequence is that smaller organizations like our receive fewer and fewer grants in funding climates like this. Our organization is entirely dependent on grants & donations so we have to struggle during off funding cycles.
This month we had to make choices into how much we can do and instead of reducing the number of people & families we can help we decided to reduce the days we can help ensuring that when we do give out our CSA bags they are full and for all the people we serve!

Please think about donating today so that we can ENSURE we can do this for the next few months. It takes $320.00 each weeks for CSAs for our families in need it takes $420.00 to have a full share table to sell or give out & full CSAs for our families. Everything helps and matters! Give what you can. Info below.

Hey here is that info i promised:
Dates:
Oct 10th no market no CSAs
Oct 17th Market with FULL CSAs
Oct 24th no market no CSAs
Oct 31st Market with Halloween party at market. 10am to 2pm. & Full CSAs plus Halloween treats.

Need help immediately please! Donate today!

We are in a grant and funding slump due to the Federal cuts to program like ours, the economic crisis, donation drops due to that crisis & the grant pool being overwhelmed by organizations in need of help again because of the Federal cuts.
It takes $320.00 each week to buy veggies and eggs from our BIPOC farmers in order to fill our CSA bags for our local BLM families and our free CSA bags to anyone in need.
WE need to cover the end of September - November.
We need this to hold us over until our grant funding opportunities restart.

We need $3,000 to help us during this rough time! We serve many families in our community and need to continue to sure them to help to keep them stable. Please give what you can but share this with others who might be able to give more!
