Its mission is to foster interaction among writers as well as other artists, educators, and the Monroe County public, thereby enhancing the vibrancy of the arts and the writing community in the greater Bloomington area. s meeting, maintains a website, distributes a newsletter, and produces and supports many events such as readings, panels, and workshops. The Writers Guild at Bloomington is also committed to fostering diversity, and welcomes members regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, and ability.
