Most boys answer this question with “It’s even more fun!”

Some other differences are:
Lots of opportunities to go camping and do other fun activities. Boys take an active part in organizing and leading the troop. The adult leaders provide support and guidance. Boys are organized into patrols, which are led by a boy patrol leader. The patrol leaders are led by a senior patrol leader and assistant

senior patrol leaders. The patrol leader council decides on the troop’s events and activities. Ages range from 11 to 17. The older boys help the other boys and provide leadership (boys can assume more responsibility as they advance and grow older). Increased opportunity for service projects. Focus on the development of the skills needed to be a successful, contributing member of society. Some examples include: Life skills, Career exploration, Responsibility, Teamwork, Leadership, Service
