Hello everyone. As far as tomorrow, May 30th, we will plan to pick the flags up if it doesn’t rain tonight or if the rain is light.

If we get a hard rain then we will have to wait for the flags to dry.

Thanks to Steve O’Grady, we don’t have as many to pick up.

So, if no or light rain we will meet at 8:30 at the IOOF here in Bloomfield.

I will post in the morning either way.

I want to give a big shout out to all who came this morning to place flags on the veterans graves. This is an honor to give say thank you to those who served and have passed away. “Memorial Day”.

If you took pictures today, please add them to the post.

If the weather stays dry, we will plan on Saturday May 30th to pick them up. We need dry weather because the flag sticks swell and can’t be taken out of the markers.

Finally getting a chance to say thank you to everyone who came out this last Saturday to help pick up the wreaths. We have such generous people in our community. The trailer was a huge help so we are especially thankful for that donation.

Hello everyone,

Just a reminder we will be picking up the wreaths in the morning (Saturday February 28). We will meet at 9:00 at the IOOF on Madison.

The wreaths are VERY dry. Please wear gloves to protect your hands. Hopefully it won't be that cold but it should be a decent day.

Last year we had a volunteer help with burning the wreaths. If someone is able to do it this year that would be a great help. If not, we will be taking them to WM so we need to be there before noon.

Hello,
Well I hate to do this but I am worried about the temperature tonight going into tomorrow. Snow isn't the issue but possible Ice. To be on the safe side, I am canceling tomorrow's wreath pick up and changing it to next Saturday the 28th. Temperatures will be more hospitable and less likely to have ice.

We will meet at 9:00 at the IOOF in Bloomfield on February 28th. I hope that works for everyone.
