Noelle remarks “My proudest accomplishment so far is my peers asking me questions about Jesus and my faith in God is the most meaningful thing I
have accomplished.”
High school staff and coaches feel Noelle is very deserving of this honor as well, when asked to describe her they say:
Noelle is great, plain and simple. I have had the chance to be one of her teachers and coaches for the last 5 years. She is someone who will always give everything she has in whatever she is doing. She will do amazing things in the future and is very deserving of this honor.
Noelle is an incredibly hard-working individual who knows how to set goals and achieve them. She has incredible faith and lives an upstanding, virtuous, and just life. She is a fighter, coming back from several injuries in multiple sports.
It has been a privilege to get to know Noelle and work with her these past few years. Noelle is a leader in every sense of the word. She is a role model for our school and is also gifted at connecting with others and guiding them to success. Noelle brings light to every room she enters with such an uplifting spirit to those around her. She has had to continuously overcome bouts of adversity and it is inspirational to see the growth of Noelle as a person because of those trials. We will for sure miss her being at Davis County High School and in our community as her journey goes to the next chapter.
Noelle Hill is an excellent student to work with. She strives to succeed in everything that she does, and she puts in the effort to make it happen. She is a strong leader with the respect of her fellow students. She brings a great attitude and motivates those around her to work hard as well.
Noelle Hill has been a great student to have in class and work with on projects outside of class. In the classroom she puts in the work needed to be successful in challenging courses. It is clear she has a goal in mind of what she wants her future to look like and what she needs to do to get there. Outside of the classroom she is a clear leader. She is not afraid to take on leadership roles and makes sure that ideas come to fruition by doing what it takes. I feel comfortable giving her a task and she makes it happen well within a deadline. She can be found with a smile on in the hallways and will make sure to talk to any student just to even offer a hello and to let them feel seen. Noelle is a great role model for our younger students showing them how to get involved in activities both in and out of school as well as keeping up on studies.
Noelle is a sweet, quiet, but determined leader. She is not going to be told she can't do something, but she will approach it with class and dignity. I have watched her at different times injure and reinjure her knee this year, and she keeps a smile on her face and once you talk to her you realize she is determined to compete.
Noelle is one of the kindest and most hardworking people you could meet. She leads by example among her peers, always showing respect, positivity, and determination in everything, she does. She's never afraid to step outside her comfort zone or try something new, and she gives her full effort in every opportunity she takes on. Her dedication, leadership, and genuine heart make her someone others naturally look up to.
Noelle Hill is such an outstanding and determined young lady. She has been faced with many hurdles this last year of her high school career and has handled each one of them with poise and grace. Noelle is a selfless individual that always puts her team's needs in front of her own desires and aspirations. She is a natural leader who encourages others through her words and actions; she never misses an opportunity to spread her positivity. Noelle is the epitome of an optimist and is very deserving of this recognition!
Noelle has been involved in numerous extra-curricular activities while attending high school. She is one of the best all-around student-athletes. Great young lady who has many peers who adore her. She is a great role model for the younger students. I know they look up to her. Noelle will be one of the few 4 sport athletes that have ever walked the halls of Davis County. I can't even name all the activities/clubs she has been involved in, but there are many!! Noelle will be greatly missed by the staff at DCHS. Congratulations to her, she has earned it in many ways. Congrats Noelle!!
Noelle Hill has participated in Marching Band, Concert Band, and Pep Band all four years of high school. This fall she was one of the drum majors for the marching band. Noelle has been involved in numerous other activities and sports throughout high school. She has excellent time management skills which enable her to participate and be successful in many different activities. Noelle has high expectations for herself and expects the same for others. She is dedicated, conscientious, and always has a positive attitude. Noelle is always encouraging and willing to help the younger students. These qualities have enabled Noelle to become a student leader in the band.
Noelle is a great choice for Teen of the Month! She is a very talented and driven young woman. I admire her ability to work through challenges in the way that she does. She is the most methodical problem-solver I have ever encountered, and because of this, she will undoubtedly outwork those around her and achieve her goals. I feel lucky to have coached her for three seasons of Varsity volleyball and to have taught her for two years in English. She was a co-captain on our volleyball team her junior and senior years, which I think says a lot about her leadership ability. She is fair and inclusive and kind and genuine and smart and witty and funny and soooooooo dang cool! ;) On a more personal note, she has been the BEST role model for my daughter, Harper, who is in 8th grade. Noelle has impacted our lives in countless ways, and I am so proud to have been part of her journey.
Noelle has helped with a few shows in Middle School mainly behind the scenes. She has participated in the Speech and Drama Club as well. Even though she hasn't been able to participate much in the speech and drama, I have seen her in other roles at school in sports and music. Noelle has determination in whatever she sets her mind to. Blaze your own trail, Noelle, and best of luck in your adventures!
Noelle came out for the very first Davis County girls wrestling team which took a lot of bravery and courage to try something new, especially her senior year. She went into the season with lots of energy and excitement. Due to an early injury, she had to sit out of competition for the first 3rd of the season. She showed grit and perseverance through the healing process where she ultimately worked her way back onto the mat. She was one of the leaders on the team even when she couldn't compete. She brought positive energy even when it was really hard. One of my favorite memories of Noelle was when she fought back to pin a girl who had beat her earlier in the season. This was at the home meet in front of our home crowd including a lot of family. She faced a lot of adversity throughout the season including a season ending knee injury which broke my heart. What I saw as a coach was a super tough kid who fought through some pain and discouragement and came out of the season as an even stronger person than before. Noelle has learned to appreciate the opportunities that are given to her. In wrestling God left her hungry because He has big plans for her. Congratulations!
After graduation, Noelle, plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa where she will study Kinesiology in pursuit of an athletic training career.
She will receive a $100.00 scholarship at Senior Awards night with $50.00 from our club and $50 from the Lynch Law.
CONGRATULATIONS NOELLE!!
