Davis County Council for the Prevention of  Child Abuse Message us if you would like to attend! Davis County Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse began in 1982.

All community members are welcome to join us the first Wednesday of the month from 4:00-5:00pm at Davis County Hospital to stop child abuse in our county. *April & May 2020 meetings will be virtualized. The Council is a group of community members and service providers with the following mission:

1. Enhance the quality of life for the children and families of Davis County through a comprehensive n

etwork of resources.

2. Advocate for policies and nurture partnerships that contribute to the prevention of child abuse.

3. To increase public awareness of child abuse and its prevention.

4. To encourage Davis County citizens to become involved in prevention efforts. This is a group of professionals and community members working together to end child abuse our county. The group partners with state and national organizations with the same goals. Community Partnership for Protecting Children (CPPC) is a grant funder of the council with the same goals of the council. Join us on the first Wednesday of the month from 4:30-5:30pm at the hospital to learn more.
