Mary's Meals USA A simple solution to world hunger. Our idea is a simple one that works. It costs just $21 for us to feed a child for an entire school year.

Mary’s Meals is an international charity that sets up school feeding projects in some of the world’s poorest communities, where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. We provide one daily meal in a place of learning to attract chronically poor children into the classroom, where they receive an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty. Where Mary’s M

eals is provided, there is a rise in school enrollment, attainment and attendance. Wherever possible, Mary's Meals uses locally grown food to support the local economy and help smallholder farmers.

We’ve joined the Tartan Army this week with our friends Iain Donald MacGillivray of MacDouble at The Haven to celebrate Scotland’s first World Cup berth in 28 years! They face off Haiti tonight.

Mary’s Meals was founded in Scotland and serves nearly 200,000 children in Haiti every school day. We are so excited to team up, celebrate the World Cup and tackle world hunger together! 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸🇭🇹

On the flight, journalists presented him with a Mary’s Meals T-shirt and mug, sharing that we now serve over 3 million children a daily school meal. Already familiar with our work, he smiled at how much the program has grown.

Haiti’s children are running out of options. Hungry and surrounded by violence, many are being recruited into armed gangs; lured by the promise of food.

Our teams must overcome immense challenges to continue delivering our school feeding program to hundreds of schools, and the catastrophic toll the crisis is taking on children there.
