This is Jeffrey and he needs your help. If you care about animals and have an extra dollar, please donate. If you love animals and you feel a little guilty when you eat them, but not ready to change your diet, please use that feeling to help Jeffrey at this animal sanctuary. He and his friends really need your help. Please share too. Please be his hero.

Hi friends, it’s Jeffrey.

I hate to say this, but we really need help today.

Our micromatch goal is $500, and so far only $190 has come in. We are so grateful for every dollar, but we are still so far away. The match has been extended just a couple more hours, and we are begging for one last push.

We need help with rent.
We need hay.
We need pole sheds so we can have better shelter.
And Buddy still needs fixed.

I wish I could tell you everything was covered and safe, but it’s not. Every day Allison is carrying the weight of making sure we are fed, protected, and cared for. She keeps going no matter how tired or worried she is, because we come first.

I’m one of the lucky ones. I got saved. I got a chance to live. Buddy did too. All of us here did. But rescue does not end the day we are saved. It takes rent. It takes hay. It takes vet care. It takes safe shelter. It takes people who care enough to step in when things feel impossible.

Today feels really heavy.

If you’ve ever loved me, smiled at one of my videos, or believed cows deserve safety and love too, plus a new ball or 4 would you please help us close this gap in these last couple hours?

No gift is too small.
Every dollar matters.
Every share matters.

Please help us move this micromatch closer to the $500 goal today.

Our adoption fairy. Our superstar. Our friend. Our loved one. The Rainbow Bridge had one of the most honored guests today who was a true angel on this earth. Please donate in our dear friend's honor, the found of Eleventh Hour Rescue. I will always love Linda, and will always miss her. I hope she knew we loved her. I hope we will all make her proud, and she will watch over many more miracles on this earth thanks to her organization, Eleventh Hour Rescue. She accomplished what few people do, but many of us try. I'm so honored and grateful to have known her, and only wish we had more time together. I'm so very very grateful for our last lunch together over a year ago, and I hoped for more. She went to Veggie Heaven with me. Eleventh Hour Rescue always had the best adoption booth at our Shelter Showcase adoption events. Eleventh Hour Rescue was and always will be a rescue powerhouse with amazing volunteers running the show. I'll never get to hear her voice say "Hey, Hun" but I can hear her in my head, with that special energy of hers that is Linda Schiller. I hope I can for a long time. She isn't really gone. She is inside all of us. But that's not enough for any of us. I love you Linda. Your babies are safe, and Eleventh Hour Rescue will continue your life-saving work.

Please donate to Eleventh Hour Rescue today in Linda's honor.

We lost one of our own today. Today, Eleventh Hour Rescue is filled with broken hearts. We lost our founder, Linda Schiller, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is the reason we have saved over 40,000 animals. Great things can be accomplished when one determined woman decides animals need to live. She taught us all about compassion, love, and kindness. What began with her deciding to find a way to help a few dogs in a kill shelter, turned into this amazing organization that we have today. If you have a story about Linda or you rescued an Eleventh Hour pet that you love, please share below. It will help heal our hearts to know that you loved her as much as we did. In true Linda fashion, I will ask you if you can find it in your hearts to spare even a dollar, this will help us continue to save animals in her honor. ❤️❤️

Farmed animals have personalities, smarts, even a sense of agency. Why then do we saddle them with lives of utter despair?
