Not your average mission… unless yours has chickens, Harleys, and power outages. Endeavoring to minister to the needs in our community by providing services such as a public laundry and public showers for those who have no running water or electricity. We also have a water station so that people who have no running water can get water for their livestock or for themselves. We provide opportunity f
or Christian individuals and groups to serve among the First People of our area through work projects or day camps or VBSs. We also host a Sunday Gathering of the People to share God's Word and worship Him using ways that are familiar to First Nations People. We don't have it all down yet, we're still learning. But we do know that the old ways of trying to change a culture into something the Creator did not intend doesn't work. We encourage people to worship God in their own skin . . . as He created them. And we have a K-12 school, Nizhóní Christian Academy, for those who are seeking a quality education, grounded in Christian principles. We have also accepted students who were struggling in public schools and brought them to graduation to see them go on to college. If you are interested in serving for a week, a month, a year or an indefinite period of time, contact our office.
