This week Bloomfield Elementary School has been celebrating Yellow Tulip Week. Some students have painted rocks and some have talked about what gives them hope. We have added their answers to our Hope Garden!

🌼 Smash the Stigma — Wear Yellow This Friday!

This Friday, April 24, students are invited to wear yellow in support of the Yellow Tulip Project as we work together to Smash the Stigma surrounding mental health.

For this day only, tops do NOT have to follow our usual spirit shirt or collared shirt expectation. Students may wear any school-appropriate yellow shirt to show their support.

All other dress code guidelines still apply:
-No pajamas, comfy pants, leggings, or lounge wear
-Bottoms and footwear must follow regular dress code expectations
-Clothing must remain school appropriate

We want students to have fun showing support while still keeping our school environment focused and respectful. Thank you for helping us promote kindness, awareness, and healthy conversations! 💛

It's Yellow Tulip Week at Bloomfield Middle School. Yellow Tulip Week is about HOPE. We want all of our students at BMS to know that there is always HOPE! HOPE HAPPENS!

The nonprofit promotes mental health through Hope Gardens, which encourage communities to come together and plant and care for a garden of yellow tulips.
