🐾 We’re proud to share that Michigan Humane has been awarded a $12,000 grant from The Day Charitable Trust.

Following our support last year, we’re honored to partner once again with Michigan Humane as they continue expanding access to compassionate, affordable veterinary care for pets and families across our community.

This year’s funding will support the Affordable Community Vet Care Program, which brings services directly into neighborhoods through community clinics, affordable spay/neuter care, follow-up treatment, and connections to essential community resources for families.

We’re grateful to support the incredible work Michigan Humane does every day to keep pets healthy and families together. 💙🐾

We’re proud to share that, for the second year in a row, our charitable trust is awarding a $3,500 grant to All About Animals Rescue 🐾

This funding will provide no-cost spay/neuter services for owned and community cats across Detroit—helping prevent unwanted litters, reduce suffering, and support healthier futures for cats throughout our city.

Every litter prevented means fewer cats facing homelessness, less strain on local shelters and rescues, and more pets able to stay with the families who love them.

As Michigan’s largest high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter clinic, All About Animals Rescue plays a critical role in improving animal welfare and preventing unnecessary euthanasia.

We’re honored to support this work and grateful for the meaningful impact it has on both animals and the community 💛

We’re proud to announce Rebel Dogs Detroit as a first-time grant recipient this year 🐾

Rebel Dogs Detroit is a no-kill rescue collective dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs in Detroit. Their work is rooted in compassion and a deep commitment to giving every dog a second chance.

Our $7,500 grant will support their foster program—helping provide essential supplies like crates, food, leashes, and enrichment items, along with critical veterinary care, behavioral support, and medical treatment.

Pictured are members of their team with dogs currently in their care—a reflection of the hands-on work that makes rescue possible.

We’re honored to support their mission and the impact they make in the community.

We’re proud to share that Dog Aide is once again a recipient of a Day Charitable Trust grant—one of four awards given this year.

This $5,000 grant will support Dog Aide’s Heartworm Prevention Program, which provides free heartworm testing and year-round prevention medication to dogs in Detroit. The program helps remove financial barriers for families and protects pets from a preventable, potentially life-threatening disease.

Each dog protected means a healthier pet and less stress for the families who love them.

We’re grateful to continue supporting this important work for a second year and to help expand its reach in our community.
