It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear friend and board member, Brad Simmons. He was a dedicated champion of the Brian McConnell Scholarship Foundation, and his contributions to the Foundation will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts are with Brads friends and family during this difficult time. We will continue to honor his legacy by providing students financial support during their time at Brother Rice.

Scholarship Donor Testimonial

The Brian Patrick McConnell Scholarship Foundation was established in 2003 for the purpose of providing financial aid to a graduate of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs who will be attending Brother Rice High School. For the past 17 years, scholarships have been awarded in memory of Brian to honor his wish to establish a scholarship program linking both of the schools he loved.
