My sweet boy, today marks nine years since I held you in my arms. There hasn’t been a day since I haven’t held you tightly in my heart. Thank you for making me the person I am today. The highs and the lows of the path we walked together in your short five years here; they shaped me, inspired me, and changed me forever. If given the chance, I would do it all again. And again. And again. The honor of being your mama was worth every single minute. Sending kisses up to you and your daddy today and every day. I love you guys so much.

Happy 14th Birthday, Buddy Boy. Thank you for continuing to inspire us in so many ways. I received a beautiful note from a dear friend this morning that said, "It amazes me that I am so completely changed and moved by a little guy who I never met." But that's exactly what you've been able to do. You've touched so many lives and given courage and perspective and hope. I'm so proud of you. Thank you for giving me the greatest honor of motherhood. I love you and miss you every day. Soooo many kisses to Heaven.

Today, May 17, is DIPG Awareness Day. Last night would've been ChadTough's 4th Champions for Change Gala. While the event had to be postponed to 2021, we're not sitting back and waiting to continue our important mission. Join us tonight at 7 p.m. for a virtual event: "ChadTough Live: Tougher Together."

This live streamed event, sponsored by M-Den, will be hosted by CBS Sports Analyst Jay Feely. The evening will include guests such as former University of Michigan Football Coach Lloyd Carr, ESPN basketball analyst Dick Vitale, columnist, author and radio host Mitch Albom, former Detroit Tiger Brandon Inge, New England Patriot Chase Winovich, and more - all to help raise awareness of pediatric brain cancer, the deadliest cancer in children.

Dear Friends,
We’re doing this! This Valentine’s Day, to celebrate two of my greatest loves, I’m excited to announce that we will honor both Julian and Brad at Team Julian’s Brave Knight Finale on Saturday, Nov. 28 back at this special event’s home, The Townsend Hotel.

To mark the 10 year milestone, please accept this as a love letter from us to you - Team Julian’s friends, family, community and supporters who’ve helped us give children a fighting chance against DIPG since Julian’s diagnosis on Nov. 29, 2010.

We’re bringing it full circle, and we look forward to kicking off the 2020 holiday season with you the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend later this year. Although none of this will be or ever has been easy, it feels right to do what we’ve done together over the last 10 years: turn tragedy into change for the better.

Thank you to all who encouraged this. So much emotion goes into this event, but it always turns out to be an amazingly feel-good night. This time around will be no exception. Tickets will go on sale in October. In the meantime, our phenomenal committee is ready to chat about any/all sponsorship and donation ideas as we get to work on our best event yet.
