We’ve always taken this journey together….. Crowned Queens was never about pretending, putting on or keeping up with the next. The core of this sisterhood has always been to pursue and reflect the heart of God while drawing women closer to him. The mission has always been to show that no matter your imperfections you are still loved by a perfect God. It’s always been inclusive and never exclusive. It’s always been welcoming for the woman who was struggling, hurting, angry, and confused to show up - not with a mask on but as she is because the God we believe in is big enough to handle every emotions she feels.

So why did we do this amazing retreat and then I just went MIA?

Because the girl who pushed the message of inclusiveness and showing up as you are be it hurt, angry or confused found comfort in isolation instead. As I reflect back on the past 5 months that we’ve been apart, I realized that I did what I told so many not to do… I isolated myself. Now because God is a God that makes all things work together for our good, he used my wilderness season to develop things in me and prepare me for what he has called me to do next.

But as for now, to my Crowned Queens sisters I’m sorry for leaving you and because we’ve always taken this journey together… let’s not stop now.
