FANA of Great Lakes or known as Far Eastern & American Nurses Association (FANA) of Great Lakes was established in 2005, originated as a Professional Nursing Organization with unique ethnic membership. Internal Revenue Services recognized our organization with Tax Exempt Status as 501 © (3) classified as Public Charity (not a private foundation) because of the nature of a public services rendered

in serving the less fortunate in the Third World Countries like the Philippines. Any contributions to FANA is deductible under section 170 of the Code. The organization is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the code.

We extend our gratitude to Medical Mission Director, Dr. Marissa Catalan, for leading the Pediatrics area during our comprehensive Medical, Surgical, Pediatric, Dental, and Optical Mission in Rosales, Pangasinan, held on February 7-8, 2026. The mission's success is attributed to the collective effort of 77 missionaries who contributed to rendering a total of 4,456 services to 1,886 patients, identifying 5 critical cases requiring immediate hospital attention. The endeavor concluded as a significant success, leaving participants with a profound sense of accomplishment and pride. Thank you so much everyone, to the Local Government Unit (LGU), and to the Honorable & Humble Mayor William Cezar.
