ESA Solar has been secretly working behind the scenes in Blissfield Township for a long time. Read the complaint letter below and ask yourself a simple question: even if you like solar energy, is this the type of developer you want building it in your township?

The lady shown in the photo is CEO of ESA Solar, Lindsay Latre. The communications referenced in the complaint below are between her and the former chairman of the Blissfield Township Planning Commission Jason Haynes.

Haynes unexpectedly resigned this spring and was replaced with Brighton Michigan resident and attorney Diane Knoblauch. Yes you read that correctly: the current chairperson of the Blissfield Township Planning Commission actually lives in Brighton Michigan and will never have her home surrounded by thousands of acres of utility scale solar.

(And if you have been attending the Blissfield Township PC meetings lately, it is simple to see that Ms. Knoblauch has been a huge benefit to ESA's interests in Blissfield Township. More posts on those meetings to come.)
