Hoping this letter finds you and yours happy and healthy during these unprecedented times.

It is usually at this time we are in the process of planning the Jim Gum Foundation Golf Tournament, however, after careful consideration, and in light of the ongoing Coronavirus developments, we are postponing this year’s event. We’ve already secured July 16, 2021 and remain excited to host you next year. We’ll get back to you with more information in the months prior to the 2021 outing.

To date, we’ve enjoyed 12 years of golf, imbibing in fine food and drink and renewing friendships. Most importantly, with your help the Jim Gum Foundation has supported 12 deserving Lehigh University football players with much needed financial aid over those years. In addition, the Foundation donated monies to the family of Brett Snyder, another fellow Lehigh University football player afflicted with ALS as well as several donations to the national ALS Foundation.

In light of the absence of the tournament this year we are still graciously accepting donations to the fund. If you still wish to support the fund this year please send your check to John Shigo, 14 Damascus Drive, Blandon, PA 19510.

Your generosity over the years has been greatly appreciated and has never gone unnoticed. Thank you!
