Strebe household Covid update.
Contact with Covid on Sunday August 29th
John - Tuesday 8/31 @ night around midnight presented severe headaches.
Weds -9/1 headache, sore throat cough. Covid test weds afternoon. Negative.
Thursday -9/2 still no relief from constant headache, extremely sore throat, cough, diarrhea, low grade fever (under 100) body chills and sweats fatigued just all around felt Like bad flu.
Friday -9/3 retested for Covid, results positive. Received antibodies infusion at the surgical suite SMDH in the afternoon. Saturday -9/4 seemed I got worse and felt bad off.
Sunday morning -9/5 I woke up. Sat up in bed and was caught off guard feeling like normal, nothing wrong. As the day progressed fatigue and lightheadedness and really unfortunate diarrhea were all still present. But all breathing, headaches, sore throat, chills and fever have been gone since Sunday.
Julie, Covid contact also on Sunday. Presented with severe headache Tuesday night 8/31. She has issues with migraines so she treated it as that. However, even her prescription meds for migraines wouldn’t even tough this.
As the day went on Friday 9/3, she began feeling bad. Covid tested positive and came home. She did not meet the preexisting health conditions to qualify for the infusion. Friday night, headache, sore throat, cough, eye pain.
Saturday 9/4 - truly downhill turn, low grade fever, sweats, cold chills, shortness of breath, fatigue, worse headaches that made her nauseous, sore throat, chest pressure pain, back rib pain from coughing, lightheaded when standing; almost passing out.
Felt worse Sunday 9/5 - pulse ox fluctuating to bad levels, borderline ER trip for O2.
Monday 9/6 - all the same symptoms only on a worse schedule.
Tuesday9/7 - woke up just as bad, made contact with Dr & determination was made to proceed with allowing her to get the infusion; went in today at 2 pm and received the antibodies infusion. She is now home resting on the couch. We are praying her symptoms go away as fast as mine did. I had however got that “oh sh*t” feeling the night after receiving my infusion because everything then hit worse and with more frequency. Hoping it was only the “it will get worse before better” and it did.
Thanks to all those that have messaged, offered help, porch dropped food and supplies to help us stay put and deal with this mess. Again thanks everyone.
