Day 5 for the pound dog and she is desperately trying to find a way out! It's lonely at the Belle dog pound she will pace and wait for her owner which we are still looking for. Does anyone recognize her? She was picked up at the Belle city park.

This young cat has been hanging out at some apartments near the Belle city park. She has taken up residence on a wicker chair that has a nice cushion to curl up on! Policy is no pets at these apartments so with winter coming this little girl is going to be miserable! I went to see this cat and all she wanted was me to pet on her! Very sweet and playful! Im willing to get this little one spayed in hopes of getting her a home! If anyone out there is interested in a sweet young cat that will be spayed please contact me! Thanks!Donna

These two dogs ran around the school area of Belle all day Saturday. Since they did not go home they were put in the pound last night for safety. These two dogs act like they know each other as if from the same family? They are well kept and super friendly. I'm shocked no one is reaching out to find them? Please share this post to everyone to get them back to their owner! This is not the husky posted at maces grocery store. Thanks! Donna

Our protect every pet rummage sale will start today mid afternoon thru Saturday! We will be set up in the large parking lot owned by Majewski plumbing in Owensville. Since we are a non profit organization doing a fundraiser for our low cost spay neuter clinic the city has allowed us to proceed with our sale! We have so much stuff it will be worth the stop! Also if anyone would like to help unpack boxes and totes as you "shop" your help would be much appreciated! We should arrive at the parking lot by noon today! Hope to see you there!

Protect Every pet will be bidding a sad farewell to Dr. Erica Smith DVM in April 2024. This will leave us with one veterinarian Dr. Diana Krenning DVM to do the surgeries of dogs and cats three days a week, Monday Wednesday, and Friday. Dr. Krenning can only do so many surgeries so I have posted a flyer for Quick Fix in Rolla as an alternate place to take pets for spay and neuter. If by chance anyone knows of a retired/ semi retired veterinarian who might be interested in a part time job spaying and neutering cats or dogs please have them contact us! 573 646-3155!

To the owner of this poor dog: you can be judged by the courts for neglect or you will be judged by the lord above. So matted the fleas were harbored in nest of matted hair. She is in better hands now she's mine. Thank you k-9 clippers for grooming "Mattie" on your day off!
