Welcome, Madelyn Finch!

Blanchester Local Schools is excited to welcome Madelyn Finch as our new 3rd Grade Teacher at Putman Elementary!

Madelyn is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Elementary Education. She is passionate about creating a positive, engaging classroom where students feel encouraged to grow, explore, and develop a love of learning.

Outside of school, Madelyn enjoys spending time with family, loving on her dogs, attending concerts, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and reading a good book. Before beginning her teaching career, she was a performer at Kings Island and also shared her love of movement and creativity as a dance teacher.

Madelyn's enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for education make her a wonderful addition to the Putman team. Please join us in giving her a warm Wildcat welcome!

Welcome, Renee Mobley!

Blanchester Local Schools is excited to welcome Renee Mobley as our new 1st Grade Teacher at Putman Elementary!

Renee brings a wealth of experience to the classroom, having previously taught in both upper elementary and middle school. She also holds a master's degree in Literacy and is passionate about helping young learners build strong reading skills and a lifelong love of learning.

After spending the past 12 years at home raising her family, Renee is excited to return to the classroom and continue making a positive impact on students' lives. Throughout that time, she remained actively involved in education as a dedicated PTO volunteer, demonstrating her commitment to supporting schools and children.

Outside of school, Renee enjoys cheering on her children at their activities, traveling, hiking, rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals, and curling up with a good book.

Welcome, Gabrielle Rollins!

Blanchester Local Schools is excited to welcome Gabrielle Rollins as our new Middle School Intervention Specialist!

Originally from Bethel, Gabrielle holds a master's degree in Special Education and brings valuable experience from both the United States and abroad. She previously lived and taught in South Korea, where she had the opportunity to work with nearly 600 students, gaining a broad perspective on education and building meaningful connections with learners from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of the classroom, Gabrielle enjoys reading, listening to music, hiking, and spending time playing games with family and friends.

Gabrielle is passionate about helping every student reach their full potential, and we are excited for the knowledge, compassion, and experience she brings to our schools. Please join us in giving her a warm Wildcat welcome!

Welcome, Kelli Rector!

Blanchester Local Schools is proud to welcome Kelli Rector as the new Secretary at Putman Elementary!

A lifelong Blanchester resident, Kelli has been a dedicated member of the Blanchester Local Schools family for 24 years. Her years of experience, commitment to serving students and families, and deep roots in the community make her a wonderful addition to the Putman team in this new role.

Kelli is the proud mom of her adopted daughter, Gracie Lou, and enjoys spending her free time with family, listening to music, dancing, and being outdoors. She is also an identical twin, a foster parent, and a devoted cat lover.

Blanchester Local Schools is excited to welcome Tessa Spriggs as the new Assistant Principal at Putman Elementary!

Entering her ninth year in education, Tessa brings a passion for supporting students, building strong relationships, and creating a positive school culture where every child can thrive. Her experience in education, combined with her enthusiasm for helping others, makes her a wonderful addition to the Putman team.

Outside of school, Tessa enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring local parks, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Having lived in several cities—including Cincinnati, Nashville, Atlanta, and Orlando—she brings a broad perspective and a wealth of experiences to the Blanchester community.

Last week was a busy week for the Blanchester Schools Foundation. On Monday, the start of a new school year had the Foundation busy at the school's convocation, after which we provided ice cream to all staff members, thanks to Mister Twisty. At the convocation, we celebrated the 2026-27 Wildcat Education Grant award winners. On Tuesday evening, Mr. Wildcat made an appearance at the Putman open house. Early Thursday morning, we celebrated our dedicated bus drivers with donuts and umbrellas. It's shaping up to be the best year yet! All Wildcates. All in. All the time. Go Wildcats!
