It’s that time of year again! 🎉 Our annual FFA Fruit Sale is officially underway, and we have lots of great options to choose from! Whether you’re stocking up for your family, looking for holiday gifts, or wanting to support our FFA members, we have something for everyone! ❤️💙

SHOW YOUR WILDCAT SPIRIT!

Support Blanchester Local Schools every time you purchase or renew your Ohio license plate with the official Blanchester Wildcat specialty plate. These plates can be obtained through any Ohio deputy registrar office or online.

How it works:

A specialty plate includes an additional $30 fee.

$10 goes to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

The remaining $20 is a tax-deductible contribution to the Blanchester Schools Foundation.

The Blanchester Schools Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting students and educational opportunities within Blanchester Local Schools.

‼️ ATTENTION ALL PICKLEBALL LOVERS ‼️

Deca will be hosting our 2nd Annual Pickleball Fundraiser on September 23rd at the BHS tennis courts!!

The $25 registration fee is for an adult team of two and payment will be due when you arrive at the tournament, please register using the email below by the 22nd so we are able to make the brackets.

All proceeds will benefit our DECA students to cover competition costs. We appreciate all of your support! 🔷

Welcome, Taylor Hall!

Blanchester Local Schools is excited to welcome Taylor Hall as our new 2nd Grade Teacher at Putman Elementary!

Originally from Loveland, Taylor is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and is passionate about creating a classroom where students feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn each day.

Taylor is the proud mom of three children and enjoys spending her free time swimming, reading, running, and making family memories at Kings Island. She also loves setting personal goals and is currently training to complete her first half marathon.

Taylor's enthusiasm for education and dedication to helping young learners grow make her a wonderful addition to the Putman team. Please join us in giving her a warm Wildcat welcome!

Welcome, Andre Gendreau!

Blanchester Local Schools is excited to welcome Andre Gendreau as our new Health and Physical Education Teacher at Blanchester High School!

With 30 years of experience in education, Andre brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and a passion for helping students develop healthy habits, confidence, and lifelong wellness. He is especially excited to join a district where his family has deep Blanchester roots, making this opportunity especially meaningful.

Outside of school, Andre enjoys spending time with his family, camping, exploring the outdoors, and participating in 5K races. A dedicated runner, he also completed the Flying Pig Half Marathon, demonstrating the perseverance and commitment he encourages in others.

Andre's experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to student success make him a fantastic addition to the Wildcat family. Please join us in giving him a warm Blanchester welcome!

Welcome, Mandy Baynes!

Blanchester Local Schools is excited to welcome Mandy Baynes as our new High School Art Teacher!

Mandy brings years of experience as an art educator and has spent time teaching in Tennessee, where she inspired students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic talents. She has been happily married for 17 years and is passionate about creating a classroom where students feel encouraged to express themselves and grow through the arts.

When she's not in the classroom, Mandy enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, camping, and spending time with her church community. She also loves adventure and has memorable experiences snorkeling with sea turtles and hiking Mt. LeConte in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Mandy's creativity, experience, and enthusiasm for education make her a wonderful addition to Blanchester High School. Please join us in giving her a warm Wildcat welcome!

Recently the Blanchester Schools Foundation gratefully accepted a generous donation from the William Lucas Family to benefit the students of Blanchester Local Schools. Part of their donation was used to purchase a new ice machine that will service all athletic teams, trainers, and marching band. A special thank you to Valley Commercial Service for their timely installation of the ice machine in August before the start of school.

Additional funds from the William Lucas Family donation will help purchase athletic uniforms over the next two years. A special thank you to the Blanchester Athletic Boosters and the Blanchester High School Athletic Department for their guidance with these purchases..

None of this would have been possible without the donation from the William Lucas Family. The Foundation continues to work with the school district to use the remainder of the donation for the benefit of students. Go Cats!
