Adopt a Christmas Stocking
In the previous years I have used little stuffed Teddy Bears 🧸 for our lady residents, Stuffed reindeer 🦌 for the men stockings and little stuffed Christmas Mice 🐁🐭 for Kids at Homeless Shelter. But, this year the struggling economy is a factor of having to regroup my idea. So, I have little wooden Christmas tags with the Gingerbread people for the lady residents stockings and Snowman for the gentleman's stockings. The same for boy and girl stockings.
Hopefully things will change and I can place the stuffed animals later. The residents loved the soft animals for arthritis therapy on their hands. I am praying it all comes together. It's been very slow. I have only 2 Social Security funds before Christmas and could use some help with items. The economy has not been kind to any of us. Last year we got hit with food and tariffs, this year it's gas and food prices. Prayers are always needed for the stockings to get filled. 🙏
