Blanchard 4-H 4-H isn’t just about showing livestock. It’s about kids learning to become self-sufficient, to grow into tomorrow’s leaders.

The McClain County 4-H program encourages youth to use their Head, Heart, Hands and Health to strengthen leadership skills and provide community service locally, state-wide, nationally and world-wide! Leadership and community service are completed through over 50 project areas ranging from animal agriculture, equine, sewing and cooking to shooting sports, environmental stewardship, and conservatio

n of natural resources. 4-H members participate in County contests such as public speaking, demonstrations and cooking contest. 4-H is open to everyone ages 9-19 with a Cloverbud program for youth ages 5-8.

McClain County 4‑H is collecting comfort items for local nursing home residents, and we’d love your help! 💚
Our Senior Smiles project is all about bringing joy, dignity, and care to the seniors in our community. If you’d like to make a difference, consider donating any of the requested items listed on the flyer.
🗓 Donations accepted through March 13
📍 Drop off at the McClain County Extension Office
✨ Requested Items Include:
• Gripper socks
• Lip balm
• Lotion
• Nice razors
• Hair bands
• Coloring, crossword, or puzzle books
• Handwritten cards
• Puzzles
• Candy (regular & sugar‑free)
